  • What is an MSK Physiotherapist?
An MSK (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist is a specialized healthcare professional who focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating conditions that affect the nerves, muscles, joints, and soft tissues of the body. They have extensive knowledge and expertise in managing musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, utilizing a wide range of treatment techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education. At Spink Physiotherapy, our MSK Physiotherapists are dedicated to providing personalized and evidence-based care to help our clients recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, improve their mobility, and enhance their overall well-being. Whether you're recovering from a sports injury, dealing with a musculoskeletal condition, or seeking preventive care, our team of MSK Physiotherapists is committed to helping you achieve your goals and regain function.
  • Do I need to wear specific clothing for my physiotherapy session at Spink Physiotherapy?
At Spink Physiotherapy, we recommend wearing clothing that allows easy access to your injury site and the surrounding joints. This will allow for a smoother process for both yourself and your therapist during the session. Occasionally, you may need to remove clothing for some harder to reach areas of the body, so wearing flexible and comfortable attire that can be easily adjusted will make the session more efficient. We prioritize your comfort and privacy during the session, and our therapists will always communicate with you about any necessary clothing adjustments during your appointment.
